Open since November 2017, Paradigm Mall JB is one of the largest malls in Johor with over 500 retail shops sitting in its seven-storey building. Its ideal location within the Skudai district and is only around 15.5km from Woodlands Checkpoint, making it easily accessible to not only locals but also tourists, especially Singaporeans. The first in Johor, Future Land Fun Zone is an indoor virtual reality theme park which is equipped with the latest technology for family entertainment, suitable for both kids or adults. One of the largest cinemas in Johor Bahru, Golden Screen Cinemas (GSC) offers a wide range of international and local films to provide a full entertainment experience to customers. You do not have to worry about the long queues here as there are automated ticketing kiosks around. In addition, there is a Premiere Class Lounge with a kid’s zone for families.

If you want something different, this cinema also has its very own 4DX cinema. Movies are no longer limited to only satisfy your visual sensation as their 4DX provides a large number of multisensory signature effects. Located just opposite GSC, Camp5 is a popular wall-climbing gym that has walls in a range of heights and with various challenges rated from super easy to insanely hard. Do not worry if you are new to climbing, the instructors are all professional and are very patient to guide you along the way. 

If you just want to try out to figure out if climbing is your thing, you can get started with their Try Climbing session. If you feel like you’re ready, you can start enrolling in their Basic Wall Course. Give it a try! Who knows you might love it, right?

Being the first and the only ice skating area in Johor, Malaysia, it only costs RM25 per person for unlimited hours. How great is that?! There are various food stores in Paradigm Mall JB. From Japanese, Korean, Thai, Malay, Chinese, Western, to Nyonya, whatever food you can think of, there’s a high possibility you will find it here. More than 80 food and beverage venues are available for you to choose from. 

Among all those, “Go Noodle House” is one of the highly recommended places as it serves superb rice noodles with delicious soup. Their signature rice noodles are slightly thicker than the usual ones out there, with a thickness similar to udon. The soup base is the one that does the magic. There are five soup bases to choose from: pickled chili pepper soup, superior soup, tomato soup, tom yum soup and salted vegetable soup. The superior soup base is the star, but do take note that it contains wine. So if you don’t take alcohol, you can simply request one without it, it’s just as good as the original one.

Are you a dessert lover? Located at level 2, UMAMI Softserve provides one of the best desserts in Paradigm Mall JB. The flavours include Signature Uji Matcha, Houjicha, Kurogama Black Sesame, Nama Chocolate, Yuzu and Kyoho Grape Yogurt, with five choices of toppings to choose from: Shiratama, Roasted Rice Puff, Azuki Red Bean and Warabi Mochi. You can either have it in a cup, cone or a waffle bowl. The flavour is intense and rich, it’s definitely a must-try place when you visit Paradigm Mall JB.

How could you visit Paradigm Mall JB without shopping? There are various retail outlets here, ranging from clothing stores like Converse, Puma, Showroom, H&M, Uniqlo to house decor stores such as Homepro, Harvey Norman, Akemi Uchi and so on. Pretty much anything can be found here. There’s also a premium supermarket “Village Grocer” for you to enjoy grocery shopping. Although the price might be a bit higher than normal, the quality and experience make up for it.
